Position title: Communications Officer
Reference: COM - 01
Location: Jabal Weibdeh Offices, Amman, Jordan
About the Position: The Communications Officer assists in developing and fully implements Jo Bedu's communication strategy. Jo Bedu's Communications Officer continuously communicates with different audience groups including fans on social media sites, customers, media, and the creative community with the goal of broadcasting Jo Bedu's messages to current audiences and expanding Jo Bedu's reach by tapping into new communities on a domestic, regional and international level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop content to share with audiences on multiple platforms.
- Monitor, respond to inquiries and updates all online social media platforms including:
- Youtube
- Jo Bedu Website
- blog posts
- Manage and expand an audience database list.
- Develop direct ties with media agencies domestically, regionally, and internationally.
- Analyse audience interaction trends and conduct value added reporting.
- Assist in developing Jo Bedu's communication strategy.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 work experience in communication, marketing, writing.
- A University degree , preferably in communication, marketing or writing.
- Exceptional communicate skills in both Arabic / English
- Considerable knowledge of a wide range of social media platforms.
- An avid social media user.
- An interest in arts: visual and musical.
- A smart phone

- Organize online and offline marketing campaigns
- Conducting email, sms and online marketing campaigns:
- Building and maintaining contact networks
- Manage Jo Bedu’s social media sites
- Conduct market research
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years work experience in either marketing, PR, event management, or communication
- A university degree in marketing or communicatio.
- Exceptional communication skills in both Arabic / English
- Considerable knowledge of a wide range of social media platforms.
- An avid social media user.
- An interest in the arts.
